Her rituals are reenactments of life’s cycles that parallel the eternal cycles in nature, e.g., birth, life, death and rebirth. Her rituals bring together people with different spiritual beliefs to experience their connection to the whole. The rituals are highly participatory and can involve a lot of moving and sounding.  Katja has been doing seasonal rituals since 1992. She does the annual summer solstice at America’s Stonehenge in NH that is attended by over one hundred people of different paths in life. She has taught classes in ritual, does ritual in colleges and can be commissioned to create rituals for special occasions. She is part of the East Coast Village that works on a ongoing base with Malidoma Somé.
